Only one will escape from the virtual world in a custom built Subaru car. Compete with your friends to see who can protect his base against the dinosaurs and win the ultimate prize.

Is everyone given the same opportunity to win?

• All players are given the same set of resources to begin the game.

Are my sessions saved? How do I save my progress?

• Each session are automatically saved after logging out. The game will reload to where you have ended in the next log in.

Can we still play the game after the 9-week campaign is over?

• We are yet to decide on the same.

What are the system requirements to play this game?

• To play this game, you may use any PC or MAC with Internet ready browser and flash player 10.1 & above.

Can I create more than one player account?

• The game account that you have created is linked to your personal facebook account. Hence, you may only have 1 game account at any one time. In addition, if you were to play the game in multiple windows, you may risk losing your data.

Terms & Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO "FOX/ SUBARU VIRTUAL WORLD" COMPETITION

• By entering the "Fox/ Subaru Virtual World" skill-based competition (the Competition), you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions of entry (the Terms) and agree to be bound by them.
• By entering the Competition, you also confirm that you do not breach any law in your country of residence regarding the legality of entering the Competition. Satellite Television Asian Region Limited, Tan Chong Motor and Motor Image Enterprises Pte Ltd (jointly the Promoter) will not be responsible for any entrant entering the Competition unlawfully or otherwise in breach of local law. You are advised to check or seek advice on your local law before entering the Competition.
• Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Terms.
• The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to:
  • amend or vary any of the Terms at any time without prior notice and by entering the Competition you agree to any such amended Terms; and
  • terminate or disqualify any entrant's entry for the Competition or reclaim any Prize(s) at any time if it is the opinion of the Promoter that there has been a breach of any of the Terms by such entrant (whether discovered during or after the end of the Competition).

Entry to the Competition

• Entry to the Competition is open to anyone:
  • aged 18 years and above on the date of entry;
  • having a passport valid for travel to Australia during a period to be determined by the Promoter but proposed to be on or around [February 2012 – July 2012] (the Travel Period) and for six (6) months thereafter;
  • available for travel to Australia during the Travel Period; and
  • residing in one of the following countries: Brunei, Cambodia, China, Fiji, Guam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Middle East, Mongolia, Myanmar, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Tonga and Vietnam.
• Notwithstanding the above, where your entry in the Competition is prohibited or restricted by law or otherwise in your place of residence, it shall be completely void.
• You may enter the Competition for yourself only once.
• No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and any related companies, sponsors and/or advertising agencies may not enter the Competition.

The Competition

• The Competition is open from 11 November 2011 to 23.59:59 hours on 15 January 2012 (Hong Kong time) (the Competition Period). The Competition Period is subject to change at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
• Any entry submitted after the close of the Competition Period shall be void.
• To participate, each entrant must play the game available online at [www.foxtvasia.com/virtualworld]. First time users of Facebook connect will also be required to register for that service.
• The entrant with the most points in the game at the end of the Competition Period will be declared the winner.

Announcement of Winners

• The winner will be notified by email and will be required to acknowledge receipt of such email within five (5) working days of such receipt, or their Prize will be forfeited. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to deal with the Prize in any manner if it is unclaimed.

Prizes

• The Prize in the Competition is a pair of economy class air tickets with accommodation to Queensland, Australia (the Prize) may be subject to variation at the discretion of the Promoters, and any change will be final and binding upon every entrant in the Competition.
• The Prize for the Competition will be given to the winner as set out in the Terms. The winner must accept the Prize in that form. The Prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash credit or kind, either in part or in full except at the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter. The Prize cannot be sold or bartered. There is no refund for any partially used Prize.
• The Promoter reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to deal with the Prize in any manner if it is unclaimed Prize.
• The Promoter shall not be liable in any way for any failure or breach by any party in connection with the Competition and/or Prize and accepts no responsibility for any loss suffered by an entrant arising from the Competition or Prize.
• In all cases the Promoter will not be held liable if any Prize does not reach the winner for reasons beyond the Promoter's control.
• The Prize are subject to:
  • any rules and regulations pertaining to the claiming of prizes in the country where each winner is a resident; and
  • the terms and conditions of any third party supplier of the Prize.
• If the winner is unable to travel to Australia (including if they fail to comply with all local entry, visa and/or other legislative requirements) or is unable to travel during the Travel Dates, the Prize will be invalidated without further liability on the part of the Promoter.
• The winner must, at their own cost, obtain appropriate travel insurance for the travel to Australia on the Travel Dates. If for any reason a winner cannot be insured, the Prize will be invalidated without further liability on the part of the Promoter.
• The winner must, at their own cost, obtain the necessary visas to travel to Australia on the Travel Dates.
• The winner may be liable for any expenses not specified on the description of the Prize.
• The winner will not be reimbursed for any time they may have to take off work in order to take part in the Prize.

Judges' Decisions

• The judges' decisions as to any matter relating to the Competition, including but not limited to any entry eligibility, the winning entry(ies) and the winner, will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into about the Competition or the judges' decisions.

Publicity

• The winner of the Competition may, at no cost to the Promoter, be requested to participate in public relations events tied to any campaign of which the Competition forms a part, to generate press coverage of the Competition and/or that campaign. This may include, but not be limited to, quotes given for inclusion in press releases and press conferences, interviews, etc.
• By participating in the Competition, the entrants:
  • agree to the use of their name and/or likeness, without compensation, by the Promoter and/or any party authorized by the Promoter; and
  • grant the Promoter and any party authorized by the Promoter an irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free right and licence to use any material submitted as a part of their entry into the Competition (the Works) in any manner, for any purpose the Promoter may see fit, in all forms of media now known or hereafter invented;
  • to the fullest extent permitted by law, waive any moral rights or similar rights they may have in the Works or any part thereof throughout the world; and
  • undertake not to object to any use of the Works by the Promoter or any party authorized by the Promoter.

Indemnity

• Entrants shall indemnify the Promoter, its agents, employees, representatives, associates, affiliates, parent and subsidiary companies against any and all claims, losses, costs, damages, liability and/or expenses arising out of the entrant's breach of any of the Terms.
• Each entrant, by entering the Competition, expressly releases the Promoter from any claim, action or demand arising out of or in connection with the Competition or their Prize, if any. In particular, each entrant acknowledges that elements of the Prize may be provided by third parties over whom the Promoter has no control, and acknowledges that the Promoter has no responsibility or liability for any costs, losses or damages resulting from any factors beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
• The Promoter shall not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entrants' information. This will include but is not limited to technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost/delayed/garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of: any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof.
• If, for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to the reasons of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.

General

• Any provision of the Terms that is prohibited or unenforceable in any jurisdiction is ineffective as to that jurisdiction to the extent of that prohibition or unenforceability. That does not affect the validity or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction nor invalidate the remaining provisions of the Terms.
• The law applicable to the Terms is the law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (the HKSAR) and the courts of the HKSAR will have exclusive jurisdiction in case of any dispute arising out of or in relation to the Competition.

• If you disagree with this Privacy Policy, do not acquire a product or service offered by us or use or access the Website or information, material, products or services provided in the Website.
• You acknowledge and agree that we may change all or any part of this Privacy Policy at any time, at our sole and absolute discretion, and that such changes shall be effective as of the time of posting of the amended Privacy Policy to the Website.
